I'm passionate about leveraging data and human-centered design to solve complex business challenges.
My design experience is vast and varied. I began as a self-taught graphic designer and then studied web and interactive media in college. Since then, my career has evolved from graphic and web design to UX/UI design. Throughout my creative career, I have discovered that I enjoy solving problems with limited resources, and I'm good at it! Shifting my career path to user-focused design has been a perfect fit for my skill set.
In most of my previous positions, I've taken the initiative to learn new tools, processes, and systems. I took my web development learning outside the classroom to set up my web server and learned how to build WordPress themes from scratch. When my job demanded I learn 3D modeling to visualize trade show booths, I taught myself how to use SketchUp.
