To identify modern mobile banking trends, I initially conducted a comparative analysis of the app's existing features with those offered by other banks. Based on these findings, I created wireframes to incorporate the identified trends. These wireframes provided a foundation for exploring potential solutions, which I then iterated upon and refined within Figma.
The Arvest Go app did not fully leverage the potential of the brand's design system. A competitive analysis revealed that other banking mobile apps offered customers the ability to personalize their home screens, a feature currently absent from the Arvest Go app.
Users utilize banking services in unique ways, with varying account types and usage frequencies. To accommodate these individual preferences, a fully customizable dashboard was designed. This empowers users to prioritize their needs by selecting which cards are displayed and determining their order of appearance.
The Arvest Go app now seamlessly aligns with the brand identity through the implementation of rounded corners, vibrant color blocks, and a neighborly tone. The app leverages components directly from the brand's design system or draws inspiration from existing elements. Furthermore, the design seamlessly adapts to dark mode, ensuring an inclusive and accessible user experience for all.
